Senior Aerospace Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aerospace Engineering Manager to lead our innovative engineering team at Eirtech Aviation Services Inc. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, certificationand testing of aerospace systems and components while driving technical excellence and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in advancing our mission to redefine the field of aerospace engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of aerospace engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
• Manage the full lifecycle of aerospace projects, from conceptual design through to final testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and schedules, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and specifications, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation for engineering projects, ensuring optimal use of company assets.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of leading successful aerospace projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Experienced in coordinating projects with the FAA and EASA.

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced aerospace Major Structural Modifications, Repairs, propulsion systems, or avionics.
• Experience with aircraft manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Expertise in CAD software (e.g.,AutoCad, CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools"FEMAP/NASTRAN".
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, DO-160, DO-178C).
• Familiar with civil aviation Regulators, FAA and EASA
• Experience with software development methodologies for embedded systems.
