Eirtech Aviation Services has been awarded a second Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) on the B737-8200 to enable the installation of a fixed automatic ELT as well as a portable survival ELT.
Eirtech Aviation Services has been awarded a second Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) on the B737-8200. This STC enables the installation of a fixed automatic ELT as well as a portable survival ELT – to meet the latest EASA ELT battery requirements.
This STC is the second STC awarded to Eirtech in partnership with our customer, Ryanair. The first STC, received in April - allowed for the installation of fixed ELT structural provisions and a fixed external antenna on the 737-8200.
