AMOC solution for Compliance with AD 2012-19-11 on B737 Series Aircraft

Eirtech Aviation Services have successfully developed and installed an SB and Kit to comply with FAA AD 2012-19-11 – Cabin Pressurization/Altitude Warning System for the Boeing 737 family of aircraft

The solution is has been granted an FAA “State of Design” Approved AMOC for B737 Series Aircraft which under the Bi-Lateral agreements is automatically accepted by EASA and is also supported by EASA STC #10040934 Rev1

Our solution also complies with 28-AWL-05 and all aspects of the Airworthiness Limitation comply

The FAA AD became effective on 7 Nov 2012 and was prompted by the report of a flight crew not receiving an aural warning during a lack of cabin pressurization event. The failure of the altitude pressure switch prevented the aural warning from sounding when the cabin altitude exceeded 10,000 feet

The FAA issued this AD to prevent the loss of cabin altitude warning, which could delay flight crew recognition of a lack of cabin pressurization, and could result in incapacitation of the flight crew due to hypoxia (a lack of oxygen in the body), and consequent loss of control of the airplane

The Eirtech Aviation solution represents a substantial cost saving on Kit and Installation costs per aircraft over the alternate solution
