Shannon, Ireland – 29 October 2026 – Eirtech Aviation Services is pleased to announce the successful achievement of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for the installation of the Universal Avionics CPDLC/ACARS UniLink UL-801communication system on the A320 aircraft family, under EASA STC reference 10091062.
This significant milestone represents the culmination of several years of dedicated engineering, development and certification work. The successful completion of the STC reflects the depth of expertise, perseverance and commitment required to deliver a complex aircraft modification and bring it through the regulatory certification process successfully.
The STC covers the installation of Universal Avionics’ UniLink UL-801 system, providing Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) and Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) capability for the applicable Airbus A320 series configuration. This approval further strengthens Eirtech Aviation Services’ portfolio of certified aircraft modification solutions and reinforces its ongoing commitment to engineering excellence, regulatory compliance and supporting the evolving needs of aircraft operators.
