Eirtech Aviation Services is delighted to announce that its Cabin Altitude Pressurization Warning System for the Boeing 737 fleet has been named as the most pioneering innovation in the Aviation Innovation Award category at the IAA Industry Awards in Dublin earlier this week. The 2014 Aviation Industry Awards was presented for the first time at a black tie event organized by the Irish Aviation Authority at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Dublin.

The 2014 Aviation Industry Awards was presented for the first time at a black tie event organized by the Irish Aviation Authority at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Dublin. Awards were given in this category to the most groundbreaking and trendsetting engineering and product solutions in the aviation industry today.
Niall Cunningham, CEO of Eirtech Aviation, accepted the award in front of more than 500 representatives from the aviation and support Industries. He said, “I am extremely honored to receive this award on behalf of the Eirtech Aviation team and to be recognized alongside industry leaders. Our mission is to offer engineering solutions that address challenges at the intersection of safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness”.
The adjudicating panel described the Cabin Pressurization Warning Solution as, “Eirtech’s solution for fitting a cabin pressurization or altitude warning system for the Boeing 737 fleet was nothing short of exemplary”. It’s simple, it’s quick to install and it’s very cost effective – typically saving about ten thousand dollars per aircraft. It’s also turned into a huge commercial success, with orders already secured for the new system on more than 500 aircraft”.
