Eirtech Aviation Services have developed a cost saving alternative means of compliance (AMOC) solution for satisfying FAA AD 2019-03-26 on B737-600, -700, -700c, -800, -900 and -900ER Series Aircraft (without Boeing Sky Interior (BSI)).

The Eirtech Aviation Services solution includes FAA / EASA approved Service Bulletin, FAA AMOC, FAA STC (with Right to Use) and Installation Kit (with EASA Form 1) to comply with FAA AD 2019-03-26 and 2021-26-17 for B737-700 & B737-800 aircraft.

Eirtech Engineering package supplied with all required Installation Drawings, Manual Supplements and Master Document List. Eirtech Installation Kit is same fit, form and function as the OEM kit.

The FAA AD became effective on the  8th April, 2019, with a compliance date of 26th March 2024.

This AD was prompted by a report indicating the passenger service units (PSUs) became separated from the supporting airplane structure during several survivable accident sequences. This AD requires installing lanyard assembly kits on the PSU and, for certain airplanes, on the life vest panel (if the aircraft is equipped with life vest panels in the PSU rail).

The Eirtech solution represents a substantial cost saving on Kit and Installation costs per aircraft over the alternate solution.
